Traffic in Faial is very light, so it is easy to drive around. Taxis, rent-a-car and scooter services are available at reasonable prices and the ferries provide regular maritime connections between Faial, Pico and S. Jorge islands.
There are regular 30 minutes ferries between Faial and Pico throughout the year and there are also regular ferries between Faial and S. Jorge that take about 2 hours.
